This is my first try at photgraphing waterdrops.
I'm still not totally content with it, but I don't know what is missing.
Do you guys have any tips for improvement?
Oo...this is very cool...quite different from the usual photos of water drops. I think what makes yours different is the fact that maybe a nanosecond more of time to let it release more to get more of the drop effect would've completed it better. Either way, I love it. It sort of looks like ice frozen in time, but somehow you captured it in its water form. GREAT JOB!!!

Thanks a lot!
Indeed...maybe I was just that nanosecond too early...I really like those pictures where the drop is separated from the rest of the water...ah well...back to the water to shoot some more I guess
Yes...that's what I was getting at...to make it more separated...heh, well, you're clever enough and you figured it out on your own. Well, you're welcome, good luck on the rest of your water shots!

the only thing it's missing is another frame beside the black one. Keep that one and add like 1.5 cm of white canvas to it... it will lighten your picture a lot and make it not so dark, but rather happy and interesting.
It's really cool shooting drops, I had fun doing that too.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
